SunAéro® energy-saving solar heating is now certified and connected!

Thermal efficiency of over 70% for energy savings of up to 35%!

Solar Brother, which specializes in the design of environmentally-friendly solar solutions (ovens, barbecues, fruit and vegetable dryers, etc.), announces that it has obtained SolarKeymark certification for its SunAéro® solar heating system, with efficiencies claimed to be the highest on the market. This high level of performance makes it possible to generate 3°C to 5°C of additional heat thanks to free solar energy, and therefore to lower the thermostat of your current heating system by the same amount, saving up to 35% on your energy bill. And for even greater control over consumption, SunAéro® now comes with an application for tracking yields in real time.

SunAéro® achieves SolarKeymark certification

SolarKeymark certification is recognized worldwide. It is a quality label for solar thermal systems. Developed by the European Committee for Standardization CEN, it serves as a benchmark for solar collectors and systems.

Having been tested by a third-party laboratory on its ability to withstand outdoor conditions and on its performance, SunAéro® solar heating achieved excellent results in terms of performance: thermal efficiency in excess of 70% with 180m3/h of renewed air volume, and calorimetric production at +30°C. These results are now publicly available on the SolarKeymark website. With this official certificate received on December 1, 2024, Solar Brother will be able to accelerate its marketing and target the tradesmen, installers and specialized mass retailers in particular.

An application to track SunAéro® performance at all times

Another new feature is that SunAéro® is now connected! Via the free SunAéro® app, users can monitor heat production and room humidity in real time.

Developed by Solar Brother engineers, the application now displays the following data: temperature in the room, temperature produced by the heater, airflow generated by SunAéro®, humidity level in the room. Today, any customer who has connected his SunAéro® to his Wifi can consult his production data from anywhere. Ideal for anyone who needs to remotely monitor the energy performance of their second home.

Other enhancements and functionalities will be added in the near future, such as remote control, customized settings and a summer air-cooling function.

SunAéro®, add free heat to your rooms with one or more panels!

SunAéro® is the 1st connected solar heating system capable of heating and renewing air in rooms from 20 to 60m2, such as bedrooms, living rooms, workshops, sheds and cellars. The benefit? The extra 3 to 5 degrees it generates in the home means that the current thermostat can be lowered by the same amount, resulting in real savings that are not to be underestimated.

Depending on their needs, users can modulate the SunAéro®’s capacities, and combine 1, 2 or 3 panels of 10 to 20m2 (depending on the volume of the room to be heated) for a power of 500 watts per panel. With 2 SunAéro® aerothermal panels, users will have an additional 1,000 watts of power to heat their room, and 1,500 watts for 3 panels.

SunAéro® is easy to install on any type of home!

SunAéro® aerothermal heating is suitable for both traditional and alternative housing: concrete/stone-brick houses, container housing, tiny houses, workshops. It can be installed vertically or horizontally on a facade, on the roof or on a south-facing nomad base, using modular panels that are mechanically fastened to the wall with quick-release fasteners.

With its “Plug & Play” system, installation is very simple: once you’ve chosen the room you want to heat, simply drill 4 holes on the outside of the front of the room to attach the panel. Solar operation requires no connection to the power grid!

SunAéro® runs completely autonomously on solar energy

Once you’ve installed the panels and the pilot block with ventilation system, there’s nothing left to do. Solar heating operates naturally:
1. Outside air enters the bottom of the panel through the filter cassette.
2. The air then comes into contact with the solar absorber in the aerothermal solar panel, which is designed to optimize heat transfer.
3. As the air rises through the panel, it is heated and propelled into the house via controlled ventilation. As soon as the pilot block exceeds the temperature of the house, ventilation starts. When night falls, it automatically switches off as the sun sets.

This patented technology, optimized by the insulation of the air duct, achieves higher yields with mechanical assembly, without glue or silicone. The heat combined with the air flow heats and dehumidifies the rooms. With SunAéro®, users not only get a few degrees “for free” to heat their rooms, but also renew the volume of air in the rooms every hour with a silent ventilation system. As a result, you also benefit from better air quality every day, without having to open the windows.
