Feedback on SunAero solar heating!

Chauffage solaire SUNAERO - Temoignage

"We installed the panel this summer, not without difficulty, since we had to drill through an 80cm wall made of Garonne pebbles. Now we're taking full advantage of this heating system, which heats the kitchen and laundry room. We face due south. This panel is just what we were looking for. "

"I installed the SunAero in my entrance veranda. (...) Before, the temperature in the entrance hall and staircase was between 12 and 15°. Now it's between 16° and 20°. The surface area of the entrance hall and staircase is around 18m². "

SunAero solar heating: frequently asked questions

The SunAero aerothermal solar panel efficiently captures and absorbs the sun's heat to propel up to 200 m3/h of warm air into a room. SunAero automatically produces a flow of warm air regulated from +20°C to +40°C according to the intensity of the sun's rays, and is completely autonomous. With its dual ventilation and heating action, SunAero can also be used to dehumidify rooms, second homes or outbuildings all year round.

SunAero solar heating can be installed on a south-facing, south/south-east or south/south-west façade or roof. SunAero can be adapted to any type of building: house, apartment building, garage, workshop, etc. SunAero can also be installed on the ground or on flat roofs with its nomad base. On a facade, the Sunaero is directly connected to the room to be heated. For roof- or ground-mounted installation, the insulated duct running through the wall or roof to the room to be heated must not exceed 5m to avoid heat loss.

SunAero consists of two main parts: the pilot unit, which contains the brains of the system and propels the flow of warm air into your home, and one or more aerothermal solar panels, which absorb the heat and heat the circulating air. The number of panels depends on the surface area of the room to be heated and/or dehumidified: 1 panel up to 20m², 2 panels up to 40m² and 3 panels up to 60m². For rooms with high ceilings, such as a duplex, we recommend doubling the number of panels.

SunAero can be used in conjunction with mechanical ventilation or an air conditioning system. SunAero allows you to gain up to 5 degrees by blowing warm air into your room as soon as the first rays of sunshine appear. SunAeo is 100% autonomous and is not connected to the electrical grid.

The SunAero can be connected to one of the inlets of a good-quality double-flow ventilation system.

You can install SunAero horizontally or vertically on your facade or roof. As with CMVs, a 140mm-diameter air intake must be drilled to allow passage of the 125mm-diameter sheath and the 2m thermostat cable. If you decide to install SunAero on the roof, use a maximum of 5m of insulated ducting to avoid heat loss. You should also avoid making elbows in the duct, which could reduce the flow of incoming air. These principles also apply to the nomad base, which allows one or more panels to be moved and installed on the ground or on a flat roof.

The 13-14 cm diameter hole is drilled in hard materials such as wood, concrete or stone, using a hole saw. This equipment is easy to rent. To run the cable from the SunAero pilot module to the thermostat inside your room, use an 8 mm drill bit.

To find out whether you need permission to install the SunAero on the facade or roof of your home, contact your local council. This is necessary, for example, if your home is located in a French building zone.

With SunAero certification, installation by an RGE professional will enable you to benefit from MaPrimeRenov from January 2025.

SunAero is a completely autonomous solar system that switches on as soon as the sun appears. It operates automatically according to your settings. When there's not enough light, the SunAero switches off automatically.

The SunAéro is sold with an integrated non-return valve to prevent unwanted air from being blown into the home. For the system's longest life, we recommend covering the aerothermal panel in summer. In addition, a "summer" mode for injecting cool evening air will be available on the application for warmer periods.

SunAero is made in France from top-quality materials. SunAero is designed to last at least 25 years. SunAero comes with a 10-year warranty.

A hut equipped with SunAero aerothermal solar heating can also be transformed into a high-capacity solar dryer for preserving food, drying laundry or wood. To achieve and maintain a high interior temperature of between 40 and 60°C for drying, the volume of the hut must not be too large (1 panel for 2 or 3 m3), and the insulation must be particularly well designed to avoid heat loss.
